This course will introduce the student to the relationship between statistical methods and process control by exposing the students to data collection techniques, organization, interpretation, and application. Although the course concentrates on the manufacturing environment, the concepts may be applied to a variety of situations in engineering and business alike. 2 Cr. Hrs.
