• Students who are new to Marion Technical College should complete this application and submit the form to be accepted to MTC. High school transcripts or GED scores are required and should be submitted to the Office of Admission.

• Returning students who attended MTC within the past year can contact their advisor to enroll. If more than one calendar year has passed, returning students should complete this returning student form.

• Students who earned MTC college credit while in high school can contact the Office of Admission regarding the next steps to continuing their education at MTC.

• If you are currently attending and want to change your major or apply to a limited enrollment program, please contact your academic advisor for these forms.

*A valid Social Security Number or Taxpayer Identification Number is vital information used to comply with federal and state reporting requirements. Marion Technical College will not disclose your SSN or TIN without your consent unless required by law.

By submitting and dating this application, I agree to abide by the policies and regulations of the College as published in the MTC catalog. The criteria for admission to Marion Technical College also requires high school transcripts as well as college transcripts (if applicable). Students should request that these be sent to the Office of Admission, 1467 Mt. Vernon Ave., Marion, Ohio 43302. Providing your social security number (SSN) is voluntary. Your SSN is not used as your student ID number. We request your SSN for compliance with federal and state reporting requirements. Supplying a SSN is necessary for students to qualify for educational tax credits, enables certification of Veterans benefits, and enables the College to provide information to government entities that require SSN, including but not limited to the federal government for financial aid and Tax Relief Act(1997) reporting, Immigration and Naturalization Service, and Ohio Board of Regents.
