This integrated, project-based course will help students use the software applications Microsoft® Word, Excel, and PowerPoint to explore healthcare-related informatics. Students will use the Internet, MTC/OSU Library, and OhioLink as they research topics and prepare documents using the appropriate software applications. Course topics cover nursing informatics and its use in healthcare. This online course is offered to explore the field of technology and its use in health care.  Health care and technology are both ever-changing fields. This course provides learning to nursing and associate level nursing students related to the use of technology in the delivery of health care.
