The course offers in-depth knowledge of Windows Server 2016 identity management, including Active Directory OUs and accounts, Group Policy and preferences, domain controller and Active Directory management, Certificate Services, and advanced identity solutions such as Active Directory Federation Services (AD FS) and Active Directory Rights Management Services (AD RMS). This course provides coverage of the 70-742 certification exam objectives. With more than 90 hands-on activities and dozens of skill-reinforcing case projects, you'll be well prepared for the certification exam and learn valuable skills to perform on the job. Throughout the course, live virtual machine labs let you experience firsthand the processes involved in Windows Server 2016 configuration and management. Review questions, critical thinking exercises, and hundreds of student certification test prep questions help you prepare for the Microsoft certification exam, as well as prepare for situations that must be managed in a live networking environment. Readings and labs support the lecture, while "In The News" assignments encourage students to stay current. 3 Cr Hrs. Course Requirement(s): CIT2251.
