This course is an introduction to Test Taking Skills to assist nursing students to develop skills for effective test-taking in the nursing program and for NCLEX. Some topics that will be covered include how to effectively study for exams, how to manage time, review of test-taking strategies, and how to manage test anxiety. A variety of testing formats will be discussed with a major focus on NCLEX style questions. Dosage testing will also be discussed. 2 Cr Hrs. Course Requirement(s): NUR1400 or NUR1040 prior to or concurrently.
