SUR1100/Lecture/01 - Surgical Technology 1 | Credits 5.00
This course provides the student with basic concepts of patient care, including considerations for the physical and psychological needs of the patient. Students will also develop skills needed in the operating room. Emphasis is placed on surgical case planning and management, and knowledge of aseptic technique. Also included is an in-depth study of instrumentation and suture material and techniques.
