This CPR course will include background information about heart disease, risk factors, prudent heart, and heart/lung function. One and two rescuer cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and foreign body airway obstruction management for adult, child, and infant resuscitation will be taught. This course will consist of lecture and practice on CPR adult, child, and infant manikins. Satisfactory completion will result in certification in basic life support (CPR). The course will also have a lecture on Basic First Aid. The American Heart Association standards are used for both CPR and First Aid. 1 Cr Hr. Prerequisite(s): None..
