This course provides the student with 100 hours of clinical experience in phlebotomy. The student must perform 100 successful venipunctures and skin punctures and participate in clinical laboratory orientation. Included in the course is a review and correlation of knowledge taught in the curriculum and preparation for the Registry Exam. Students will investigate professional development opportunities. 2 semester hours. Prerequsite: Department approval
