HSS1060/Lecture/50 - Abnormal Psychology | Credits 3.00
In this course students will learn the basic concepts of abnormal psychology. The diagnostic criteria from the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM-V) for the major categories of psychological disturbances will be presented. Facts about etiology, prognosis, and treatment modalities using the DSM-V as a basis will be presented and discussed. Credit hours: 3 Prerequisites: PSY1100, Placement or ENG0970.
