CIT2641 focuses on the WAN technologies and network services required by converged applications in a network. Students will discuss the selection criteria of network devices and WAN technologies to meet network requirements. Students will learn how to configure and troubleshoot network devices and resolve common issues with data link protocols. Students will also learn to implement virtual private network (VPN) operations. CIT2641 is the second of two courses that will prepare students to tak the Cisco Certified Network Associate Routing and Switching (CCNA) Exam. Prerequisite: CIT2631 (3 credit hours). Ohio CTAG Approved Course [CTIT010].
